Dashing Gators

“Dashing Gators” is an extracurricular club that will be offered to GES students in grades 3-5.
Gladeville Elementary School Running Club is a student-running program committed to inspiring children to unlock their potential and achieve personal goals through the discipline of running. As a club, we strive to learn and grow through our love of being active and healthy. We hope to use our passion for running to build friendships, provide encouragement, and promote wellness for our students.
Dashing Gators meets on Thursdays from 2:45 – 3:30 from October 20 – December 15 (We will follow the WCS calendar)

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be open to ALL 3-5 grade students. We will meet on Thursday mornings from 7:00-7:25. The mission of this club is to lead every coach and athlete into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. This club will include prayer and devotions provided by volunteers from our partner churches: The Glade Church and Gladeville United Methodist. Every child is an athlete and ALL are welcome to attend.

GES Agriculture Club

The focus of this club is to teach children the importance of agriculture and how it affects our everyday lives. Each child will be given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that are related to agriculture. We will focus on topics related to food production, how to care for animals, and much more! The GES Ag club will be welcoming 21 students who currently attend Gladeville Elementary school and are in grades 3 - 5. The Ag club will meet once a month in Room 20.  Students are to be picked up at 3:30 or can go to kids club if they are enrolled.  There will be an interest form sent home with kids, that gives a count of who is interested but does not guarantee they are in the Ag club.  From those interest forms names will be drawn in raffle style and those students will receive and additional permission form that must be returned before the first meeting.  If you have any questions, please email Jessica Streeter at streejes100@wcschools.com .

 

We are very excited about the Ag Club!

The focus of the book club is to spark an interest in reading for elementary aged students. This year we have two separate book clubs that meet biweekly on Wednesdays. We have fifteen students in our 2nd and 3rd grade book club that meets at 2:15 until 3:30 pm. We have nineteen students in our 4th and 5th grade book club that meets at 2:15 until 4:00 pm. 

After the completion of a book, we have in depth discussions, fun crafts, and watch the companion movies.
